Talk to the Missionaries !

(Editor Note: I tried for a long time to think of something that would be really useful to everyone. My mind is blank upon writing this post. So I'm going to wing it and keep it real with a hope that it might turn out right!  )

Everyone knows missionaries right? ... right? I hope so and if you don't you should. I mean come on people we only leave our families for two years to serve a higher cause. Whats the cause?  Well it's only the greatest message EVER!!! It's the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Have you ever thought about where we came from? Where we go? Why we are here? ... you have not? The gospel can help us know! Next time you see those wonderful men and women who wear the black name tags call out to them. They will share something with you that will change your life for good. Think about this, why would someone with something that it literally from God not want to share it? We have a message that will bring you closer to Christ. We have a message that if you don't know Christ will help you know him.

Are message will bless your family. Now I know, we might not like our brothers and sisters, well its seems that we don't. But we all know deep, very deep down we love our family. If you love them, just like you love anything else you would want to keep it near to you. Our message is one of Hope and Peace. To know how the Gospel can bless your family now and to keep your family together forever.
Again, get out and talk to those wonderful young adults with the black name tags.

I would not leave my family, friends, and education for nothing. I know this is a great opportunity for me to bless peoples life's. I know that missionaries are dedicated to sharing the Gospel. Why because we love Jesus Christ  because we know him and would like all to know him. We are inspired to go out in all kinds of conditions to bless many.

I encourage all to talk with us. Learn of Christ with us. Rejoice in Christ. Love him and continually learn of him! Share him and his gospel.

Memories Are Important.

Memories are important through out life. They swarm our minds and bring old views into current perspective. No matter if they are good or bad we still learn from them. We need to be cautious about dwelling on them.

Dwelling on negative memories can bring forth past problems and feelings. We need not to forget them, but remember them to correct and sustain our futures. Focusing on the negative aspects of our life's in both the past and present will turn us from our path towards perfection. Our main focus should be towards returning to our Father in Heaven. How do we do such a thing? The answer is not a word, but rather a man, Jesus Christ. We can only return to our Father by obeying and following His Son. Although we don't have memories of being with Him or are Father before this life. We do and can receive memories of His gospels blessings in this life.

Bringing forth positive memories can influence us to be humble, happy, and grateful. We should be recording the positive memories we create or enjoy. Creating and enjoying are two very distinct things. We create uplifting memories by love. We enjoy them by others love. Love is the very reason our brother Jesus Christ toke upon himself all of our sins. We can feel a greater love to Christ by obeying his commandments and following him. When we obey whom the Father sent, then the Father will send His Spirit. With His Spirit we will possess if we continue to follow His Son; a new everlasting love for all mankind. If we continue to love all mankind, we will continue to create and enjoy new positive memories not only for ourselves but for others.

A great way to keep memories is by keeping a journal. Journals are not Facebook or Myspace! They are notes on paper. No matter if its a small binder or a piece of paper in your pocket. Thoughts written down are thoughts that are important! Try keeping two journals. One for your everyday life. Another about your memories or experiences with following Christ.

I know keeping memories recorded in journals are a great matter. I know if we continue to learn from the past, we will have a brighter future. I know Jesus Christ lives and is the Son of God. I know he suffered and toke upon himself our sins. I know if we remember him and strive to follow him we will be blessed. Memories are made everyday. Its our choice if we make them positive or negative.

Why Me?

Why does this always happen to me? Why do I feel like this all the time? Why do I have this problem?

The questions above go through are individual minds all the time. We might not have them every day or every week but we do ask ourselves them eventually. There are two things to remember at these times.

The first is that Jesus Christ suffered for us and knows are very souls. He knows what we are or have or about to go through. Jesus Christ not only suffered are sins and toke them away. He also felt all the pains, sufferings, and such that we find in our lives. Remember in those times of trial or misdeed; you’re not the only one who has gone through them. Jesus Christ the very son of God knows you and knows your life. There is always someone who is in a worse spot than you. During those times we feel at the lowest. We should pray for someone who is lower than ourselves.

Second we should remember these trials and difficulties are to help us grow and learn. I have found in my own personal life that when we endure faithfully, we find hidden knowledge and receive revelation that will bless our lives. We must continue in faith and endure this life with a hope and a determination to love and serve God. The words spoken to the Prophet Joseph Smith while in jail are; "peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be a small moment; and then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high...Thy friends do stand by thee, and they shall hail thee again with warm hearts and friendly hands." Joseph Smith later realized that God gives us these challenges to lift us high then we were before.

We all have trials in life. They are to help improve are understanding of this life. With help from Jesus Christ and His Gospel we can overcome anything! By sharing His Gospel and helping others come closer to Him we guide people through their own trials. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me in numerous ways. I know in times of low heart if I but pray and talk to our Father in Heaven I will be comforted by His Spirit. I know you can have this to. I know if you remember Jesus Christ and what He has done for you; and remember to always help others you'll see and find the PEACE of the Gospel in your life and be able to share it to the lives of others.
